"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Hi Maxim I came across your cool works and wanted to know if you might be interested in a little contest? I'm putting together a collection of artists doing a take on Jekyll & Hyde (but with a gender twist - guidelines on are on my page)
I plan to put together a compilation video of all the final submissions (with credit to everyone) by X-mas. It can be as simple as a couple images or a comic like format. I'm a film editor by day and have a lot of traffic coming thru my sites to possibly draw more viewership for you if you want.
